Conversion Metrics & Startups

Someone sent me this today and I thought you might find it interesting.  It’s a short video by Dave McClure about Marketing for startups.  He hits most of the key points, managing to over-simplify what turns out to be a very complex subject.

Seems like more than half of the startups I’ve encountered didn’t even have the concept of a marketing function.  If you’re in a startup, certainly this is food for thought.
